Tower Hand
Description
As Tower Hand, your duties and responsibilities will involve installation, moderation, repair, and performing routine maintenance on electrical equipment, such as power lines, cell tower components, or radio antenna equipment. This role will be working in a crew environment assisting with structural projects, which may include new builds, site mods, or installations on a rooftop. Daily activities may include on-site installation, repair, and modification.
Responsibilities
- This role supports the Tower team in the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of all aspects of wireless cell sites.
- Climbing towers and ladders of various heights
- Maintaining, repairing, and occasionally installing various cell tower types.
- Construction, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
- Maintain proper installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance.
- Working with a crew and responding to service calls in a timely manner.
- Complete assigned tasks within project scope accurately and efficiently
- Participate in and carry out installation, repair, modification, optimization, or acceptance test procedures of wireless infrastructures and electrical equipment
- Ability to travel for multiple days with per diem
